Boarding
The King's School is primarily a boarding school. Twelve of the fifteen houses are for boarders: 604 of the 814 pupils.
The boarding experience is a valued part of education at King's and the 'home from home' atmosphere in the boarding houses is much appreciated.
As the recent Inspection Report notes: 'Boarding at King's successfully fosters confidence and a respect for others, and prepares the pupils successfully for the next stage of their education and development.'
