Admissions
Most pupils enter at age 13. The School year begins in early September and pupils should be under 14 on September 1st. There is a smaller entry at the Sixth Form level - post GCSE. These pupils should be under 17 on September 1st.
Both Senior and Junior King's Schools are part of the same foundation and have close links. The Junior King's School is a prep school at Sturry, a village close to Canterbury. It receives both boarders and day pupils until they are 13 and has a pre-preparatory department for day children up to 8 years old. The Junior King's School is experienced in managing the education between ages 11 and 13 of those whose previous schools expect them to leave at age 11.
Details about 13+ entry and Sixth Form entry are dealt with separately.
Open Days provide an opportunity to see the School.
