The King's Foundation

Edred Wright Music SchoolThe King's School Foundation exists to help the School strengthen its financial endowment and to enable major development plans to be fulfilled. Each year the School allocates over £1m of current income to Scholarships and Bursaries. The Foundation seeks to increase this provision so as to benefit an even wider number of young people who, otherwise, would not be able to attend the School. The Foundation also makes a significant contribution to projects such as the Edred Wright Music School. To date over £4M has been raised through gifts or pledges, with an additional £908,000 of bequests made to the King's Foundation.

The OKS and Foundation Office organises a number of events, as well as the Legacy Club Luncheon, the OKS Annual May Reunion and the Leavers' Ball. The Foundation also organises the King's Ball, a fundraising event due to be held on Saturday 19 November 2011 at the Dorchester, Park Lane, London, in aid of the King's Endowment Fund.
