Art
The Art facilities at Blackfriars and St Augustine's provide many opportunities for those who do not study Art as an examination subject. During the scheduled Activities time on Thursday afternoons, and on Saturdays and Sundays, there are Photography activities and Art and Design workshops open to all who wish to take advantage of them.
There are regular visits to London Galleries and to other sites to work on location. From time to time visits abroad are arranged, the most recent being an expedition to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
The Department operates an Artist-in Residence scheme, which gives an insight into the working methods of professional practitioners.
There is a major Art Exhibition of pupils' work in King's Week. Other exhibitions are arranged from time to time.
