Sixth Form Entry
Each year some 30-40 pupils join the school in the Sixth Form. Please contact the school for a prospectus.
Visiting the school : The next open morning for Sixth Form entry for September 2011 is on Saturday 1 May 2010; there is another Open Day on Saturday 9 October 2010. Visits prior to this are of course welcome. In both cases please contact the School.
Registration: Sixth Form entry registration is kept confidential until such time as a reference is required.
Entrance examination : Entry is by competitive examination and interview. The closing date for 2011 entrants is 18 October 2010; examination and interviews are on 6 November.
Scholarships : Some academic, music, art and sports scholarships are awarded on the basis of the relevant examination and interview.
Choice of house is likely to be dependent on available spaces in the different boarding and day houses. About half of the girls applying will enter Bailey House, a Sixth Form girls' house.
