The Old King's Scholars Association (OKS) is an important part of the School community. When pupils leave King's they are able, through the Association, to keep in contact with their friends, the School and with past or current members of staff and parents. They are also able to participate in a wide range of OKS activities. We have active sporting and musical sections, well-supported London drinks, an excellent AGM and dinner, and a number of highly enjoyable social gatherings at the school. The OKS also organises a careers’ service for 6th form pupils and university students and, through the OKS Educational and Benevolent Trust, supports a number of pupils at the school, financially. Through strong links with the School and the vital support of the Headmaster, the Dean and the Governors, the OKS Association benefits from a very efficient administrative office in the heart of the precincts and participates actively in the King’s School Foundation.
Today, we communicate frequently with our members. The Association has its own website: OKS Association (oks.org.uk) which is updated regularly and has details of all recent and forthcoming events, including those at the school. Offcuts and our mailings to members include most of this information for those who prefer to read hard copy.
We are always looking for new and relevant ways to meet the needs of OKS of all ages. If you have any ideas, please contact the OKS Office. We would be very pleased to hear from you.
There are many exciting developments at the school. If you have not visited recently, I would encourage you to do so. Simply contact the OKS Office which will be delighted to arrange your tour. You will receive a very warm welcome.
