From Ashford A28

Map and directions to the King's School :

For those using satellite navigation systems, it is important to type in The Borough or the postcode CT1 2EZ in order to get accurate directions to the main school entrance (the Mint Yard Gate).

Directions:
Head into Canterbury on the A28, and after a little less than a mile of built up area, you will come to the bridge over the bypass with Morrisons etc to your left, and three sets of lights. Continue straight through following the signs for City Centre / Margate A28. After another mile or so of commercial and residential road (Wincheap), and two pelican crossings, you will go under the railway bridge and come to:
 
Roundabout 1, Wincheap Roundabout - turn left following signs for London / Whitstable A2. After leaving the roundabout, move over to the right hand lane and stay there as you approach:

Roundabout 2, St Peter's Roundabout - go straight ahead (second exit) into St Peter's Place, following the sign to Long Term Parking (no other directions shown). Continue over the pelican crossing and follow the road sharp left around the West Gate Towers, where you will immediately find:

Roundabout 3 (mini), West Gate Roundabout - turn right immediately after the Towers. Follow North Lane for about 300m to:

Roundabout 4 (mini), Causeway Roundabout - Turn right over the causeway, following signs to the Marlowe Theatre. Continue past the Miller's Field long stay car park (on your right) for 100m. At the T junction, turn left signed to coach / long stay car park. Go past St Radigund's long stay car park (less than five minutes walk to School) on the left, and after about 100m by The Dolphin pub, turn right, (taking care as vehicles can come the other way in the middle of the road) and continue another 100m to the next T junction . Turn left and then give way 25m ahead at the next junction. The Mint Yard Gate is straight ahead of you.

 

For Birley's and Blore's, continue straight on at the Causeway roundabout (Roundabout 5 above) following signs to Leisure Centre / Broad Oak. This is St Stephen's Road.

For the Recreation Centre (Blore's), slow down and turn left up into the car park about 100m past the pelican crossing.

For Birley's, continue along St Stephen's Road a further 200m towards:

Roundabout 6, St Stephen's Roundabout - turn left following signs to University / Tyler Hill. After 200m you will cross over the railway and immediately turn right into Birley's.
