From Dover A2

Map and directions to the King's School : 

For those using satellite navigation systems, it is important to type in The Borough or the postcode CT1 2EZ in order to get accurate directions to the main school entrance (the Mint Yard Gate).

Directions:
Heading towards London on the A2 dual carriageway from Dover, turn off to Canterbury on the A2050. Stay on this road for about three miles, heading towards the City Centre. At the first main traffic lights (Aldi supermarket in front of you on the right), continue straight across but move into the right hand lane as you approach:
 
Roundabout 1 - Turn right towards Margate / Herne Bay A28 (Lower Bridge Street), making sure you are in the right hand lane (bus lane on left). Continue around the city wall over the pelican crossing and after about 400m, follow the road around to the right. Over two more pelican crossings and past the ambulance station, continue to:
 
Roundabout 2 - Chaucer Roundabout - Turn left towards Margate A28, and stay in the left lane as you approach:
 
Roundabout 3 - Turn left towards Northgate / shops and follow the one way system around to the left (New Ruttington Lane), followed by a right and then right again (with the Alfa Romeo showroom on your right). Turn left into Northgate (signed to St Radigund's). Continue straight ahead for 250m where the Mint Yard Gate will be on your left by the red telephone box.


 
For Blore's and Birley's, go straight across at Roundabout 3 (above) following signs for Leisure Centre and Marlowe Theatre for 200m until:
 
Roundabout 4 - St John's, go straight ahead past the turning to long stay car park (5-10 minutes walk to School) and Sainsbury's on the left, until you reach:
 
Roundabout 5 - St Stephen's, where you go straight ahead for Birley's (signs for University and Tyler Hill) and turn right immediately after the level crossing, or turn left for Blore's and continue for another 300m where you turn right into the car park. 
  
For St Augustine's, stay in the right lane after Roundabout 1 (above) and after 300m, turn right into Lady Wootton's Green just before the pelican crossing, towards Christ Church College. St Augustine's is straight ahead of you across the mini roundabout.
