The St Augustine’s site has been used by the School since 1976. It is home to five of the boarding houses, as well as the School Library. This site was purchased by the School (after some years of leasing) only quite recently.
To the right as you enter is the refectory, often said to be the oldest dining hall in England. Next to it is Broughton, a girls boarding house. To the left is Tradescant, a boys boarding house.
In front is the School Library, below which is the St Augustine's Undercroft, which has recently been refurbished as an additional dining room. The Library is open "all hours" and is used extensively during prep time.
Next to Broughton is Bailey House, home to a further 20 Sixth Form girls. Harvey House, a girls boarding house, is beyond Tradescant. It is in a new building opened by Professor Susan Greenfield in 1999. The New Grange, next to Harvey, houses The Grange, a boys boarding house which moved from the Mint Yard in September 2007.
