International College bake sale raises funds for Macmillan
The International College came together and raised £446 for the meaningful work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Their fundraising efforts included a cake sale that saw pupils getting stuck into the baking alongside staff. The cakes ranged from the traditional English lemon drizzle to a Mediterranean fig extravaganza and everything in between.
Mr Kadinopoulos, who coordinated the event, said: “Thank you to our amazing bakers: Maria, Eva, Ms Joseph, Mr Wiffen, Mr Snook and – making a grand entrance, as always – Miss Erol! Thank you to Mr Snook and the catering staff for helping out with the logistics too. And of course, to our fabulous IC students who turned out and donated so generously.”
