The School year begins in early September.
Entry at the age of 13 years (Year 9): Most of our pupils enter the school at this age and they should be under 14 years old on September 1st.
Entry at the age of 14 years (Year 10): On occasion places become available for Year 10 entry. Please contact the Admissions department for further details.
Sixth Form Entry (post GCSE): Pupils should be under 17 years old on September 1st.
The Junior King’s School (www.junior-kings.co.uk) is a Prep school in Sturry, a village close to Canterbury. It receives both boarders and day pupils from the ages of 3 to 13. Junior King’s School is experienced in managing the education of pupils who join them at the age of 11.
Entry at the age of 11 years (Year 7): For children who leave a school at the age of 11, there is a well-established route of entry at the age of 13 via two years at Junior King’s School. The King’s School and Junior King’s School are part of the same Foundation.
