Here at Junior King’s, we celebrate the individual and take great pride in getting to know each and every family that comes through our doors.
You will receive a warm welcome when you come to the school and we very much look forward to having the chance to learn about your child and to help make your admissions journey as smooth as possible.
Pupils can join Junior King’s at any point from the term of their third birthday until Year 8. The majority of pupils join in September but we are flexible in our approach.
Most children who join Junior King’s go on to join the Senior School and for those who join in Year 7 or Year 8, ‘through places’ to the Senior School are often offered.
Our Admissions team is here to help you with any questions as regards the whole process of entry to Junior King’s for your son or daughter. Please contact us by phone or by email to discuss further.
Initial Enquiry & visit
If you have an enquiry, please contact our Registrar, Simon Bird by phone +44 (0)1227 714000 or email registrar@junior-kings.co.uk.
You will be invited to visit the school for a tour with the Registrar and meet the Headmaster.
Registration
Parents may register their child at any stage, either before or after their visit. Please complete and return the Registration Form, together with the £100 registration fee. Your child’s name will then be added to the provisional entry list for the relevant term and year.
Assessment
Children are invited to Junior King’s to attend an Assessment/Taster Day.
Offers and Acceptance
If the assessment has been successful, a formal offer of a place is made. Parents should respond by accepting the place in writing and paying the acceptance deposit.
Once the acceptance deposit has been paid and the place confirmed, further information will be sent out in the term preceding entry. Children will also be invited to spend another day or part day in school in order to meet their new class and teachers.
Visit King’s
We would be delighted to welcome you and your family to visit and to get a genuine feel for the school.
