Sixth Form Entry
Each year approximately 50 pupils join the school in the Sixth Form.
Visiting the school
Open Days are held in May and October. Individual visits are also undertaken during term time.
The first step in the admissions process is to Register via the Wisepay link on the main Admissions page and submit the online Registration Form along with a non-returnable registration fee of £200.
Entry registration is kept confidential until such time as a reference is required. Candidates need to register before being sent the link to the online application form.
Entry is by competitive examination and interview at King’s. The closing date for entrants is in October; examinations and interviews are in November. Entrants will also need to be predicted a minimum of 7 B grades at I/GCSE (or equivalent).
Academic, Music, Art and Sports scholarships are available to Sixth Form entrants.
Choice of House
House choice is dependent on available spaces in the different boarding and day Houses, but the Admissions Department always aims to provide each House with a balanced intake in terms of pupils’ talents and backgrounds.
