Millie Knight OKS at the Winter Paralympic Games
We wait with anticipation to cheer on Millie Knight OKS as she takes to the slopes at the Winter Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea that begins on March 9th.
Following her incredible performances at the Sochi Games in 2014 as the youngest Team GB participant ever, where she came 5th in both her events and was flag bearer for Team GB we hope that she can go one step further and come home with medals. Indeed, she is currently World Number 1 in Downhill.
Millie’s success is not limited to skiing, as she has recently exhibited her photography work at The London Four Seasons Film Festival. She is set to continue her studies when she embarks on a degree in sports psychology at Loughborough University in September, having received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Kent in 2017.
It is this diversity that we celebrate at King’s. Millie’s achievements are mirrored across the school with pupils excelling in the many co-curricular activities on offer whilst simultaneously continuing to achieve academically.
I hope you will all join me in wishing Millie the very best of luck on the slopes of Pyeongchang. Her timetable is below for those hoping to watch.
