The Admissions Journey
For those leaving their schools at the end of Year 6, Junior King’s can provide a through place to The King’s School Canterbury, subject to a strong performance in the assessment process and a positive reference from their current school. This pathway includes Years 7 and 8 at Junior King’s, followed by a seamless transition to the Senior School in Year 9.
For Year 7 entry, Junior King’s offers two Academic Scholarships and two Academic Exhibitions to outstanding internal and external candidates who demonstrate academic excellence and significant future potential. Please visit our Scholarships page to explore the opportunities available.
Applications for Year 7 entry close on 14 March 2026. Early application is, therefore, strongly advised.
Our Admissions team is very much here to help you with any questions you may have.
