I had the pleasure of witnessing the boarders enjoy their camping adventure last Saturday night. The weather was perfect, and the sound of music and singing filled the air as we descended into darkness, roasting marshmallows. Judging by how early the boarders went to bed on Sunday, sleep may have been scarce! I am grateful to the boarding staff for providing the pupils with the opportunity to camp out for the night.

Our Open Morning last weekend was also a resounding success. We welcomed many families eager to learn more about the educational offerings at Junior King’s, and they left impressed with what they saw and heard. My thanks go to the onsite teams for their organisation and preparation, ensuring we presented ourselves at our best. Special thanks to our pupil and parent tour guides, who made such a positive impact on our guests. Tomorrow, King’s will host their open day, so please attend if you want to learn more about the senior school.

It was a pleasure to welcome Ms Lowson to our Prep school assembly this morning. She spoke to the pupils about the power of kindness and how small, caring actions, often unseen, can help others through difficult situations. These values are championed across both schools, and I am sure the pupils will reflect on her inspiring talk.
