Entries are now invited for the thirty-fifth Calvin & Rose G Hoffman Prize.

The Calvin & Rose G Hoffman prize is awarded to the person who submits to The King’s School, Canterbury an essay that, in the opinion of King’s, most convincingly, authoritatively and informatively examines and discusses in the depth the life and works of Christopher Marlowe and the authorship of the plays and poems now commonly attributed to William Shakespeare, with particular regard to the possibility that Christopher Marlowe wrote some of all of those plays and poems, or made some inspirational creative or compositional contributions towards the authorship of them.

The closing date for entries to be received is 1st September 2024, if you wish to enter the competition, an application form and further details must first be obtained from:
