The King’s School Canterbury is delighted to share our Strategic Vision 2024 – 29. This sets out our broad aims for developing King’s over the next five years, having drawn inspiration from consultation with staff, pupils, parents and OKS. It also details some of the projects that are underway or that we intend to undertake, in order to achieve these goals.
The overarching aim is, of course, to sustain and build upon the existing strengths of our family of three schools: Junior King’s, the International College and the Senior School. We have reflected on the changing world for which we are preparing our pupils, and the evolving context in which our family of schools is operating. Both of these mean that our schools must continue to develop, evolve and innovate. But we have also sought to consider the importance of retaining and maintaining the unique ethos of our school, shaped by our unique history.
This is an exciting moment for the school as we embark on these programmes of development, and we will continue to engage with all members of our community as we put these plans in motion and develop them further.
We are delighted to be working with all of our stakeholders on the future of the School and look forward to sharing news of our progress in the weeks and months ahead.
