King’s International College is proud to announce its exceptional 2024 (I)GCSE results, with students achieving remarkable grades across all subjects. This year, nearly half of all our grades, 48.7%, were A*s, which is extraordinary. 66.9% of all results were grades A*-A and a hugely impressive 95% of all grades were passes at grades A* – C.
These results are particularly commendable given that all of our students come from overseas with English as a second or even third language. On average, our students sat 7.8 (I)GCSEs with an average Grade of 7.1.
Mrs Jo Prior, Principal of King’s International College expressed her pride in her students, staff and the supportive community that made these accomplishments possible:
‘We are immensely proud of our students who have shown extraordinary resilience, determination and intellectual curiosity in achieving such outstanding results. These achievements are testament to their hard work and the exceptional support they receive from our dedicated teaching staff and the unwavering encouragement from their families. To achieve these results in their second language is nothing short of remarkable.’
The success of King’s International College reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and its unique approach to nurturing global citizens. The College continues to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive and excel.
