Former pupils were invited to attend their Gold Award Celebration at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party, centred on the Western Terrace.

Prince Edward, in his newly appointed capacity as The Duke of Edinburgh, delivered a speech to the attendees. There were also several guest speakers throughout the day who entertained the guests with their own life experiences and journeys, highlighting that the DofE award is only the beginning, but it prepares our youth with the skills to achieve greatness by overcoming challenges.  

The King’s School, Canterbury had an impressive number of award holders, which is a credit to our pupils’ diligence and determination to succeed.
