The generous Harvest Collection by The King’s School Canterbury has been delivered to The All Saints’ Community Larder this week. Our donation included 248 bags of food plus other items, for those in need across the local community. The collection was sorted by a number of our students who volunteer at the Larder as their Wednesday Activity.
The All Saints’ Larder in Canterbury seeks to serve the local community as a stop-gap non-referral foodbank. Guests in need of food on a very short-term basis while waiting for a payment, or a foodbank delivery receive a warm welcome, good conversation, and signposting to other valuable services in the area, as well as a bag of food from the Friday Drop-in at All Saints’ Church.
Thank you to all in the King’s School community who made this possible.
