The first-ever joint boys’ and girls’ Sports Tour to France and Holland set off with 44 very excited pupils on Friday 21st October.  The sports teams were warmly welcomed by some local football and hockey clubs including Soest, Amersfoort, MOP, Hilversum, Leusden, and Baarn. The pupils were up against some very tough competition and played superbly throughout the tour.

Alongside the daily matches, the pupils even managed to take in some culture in Amsterdam visiting the Anne Frank Museum, Van Gogh Museum, and an exciting boat ride through the city’s waterways.

A stop off on the return journey home had to include a trip to Disneyland Paris which the pupils and staff loved!  What an amazing finale to such a great sports tour.

The pupils had an incredible time and were exceptional, they will take away many happy memories from this week and the staff are incredibly proud of them all.

A big thank you to all the Junior King’s families who supported the European Sports Tour along the way.
