The first half term at The Junior King’s School Canterbury has been filled with energy, enthusiasm and opportunity. As our youngest pupils settle into their routines, they have been discovering new passions, making friends and enjoying the wide range of activities that make life at Junior King’s so special.
Since joining, Hala has particularly loved the sporting opportunities, with hockey standing out as a highlight. Taking part in sport has helped her make new friends, build confidence and feel part of the Junior King’s community.
In the Nursery, brother and sister Jack and Jasmine have both been thriving in their own ways. Jack has loved learning about dinosaurs, while Jasmine enjoys dressing up during playtime. Both have found joy and creativity through the school’s engaging early years learning environment.
Axel spoke about how the teaching staff have been really kind and supportive since his arrival. He says their encouragement has helped him feel comfortable and confident in class, a reflection of the strong pastoral care that underpins life at The Junior King’s School Canterbury.
Meanwhile, Angie, who is a flexi boarder, has been developing her fencing skills and recently competed in local tournaments. Her success highlights the wide range of co-curricular opportunities available to pupils, both in sport and beyond.
