The boys’ fencing squad retained the schools team Epee trophy for the third consecutive year at the Public Schools Fencing Championships, whilst the girls’ squad finished as runners-up for the second consecutive year, losing out by just 9 points.
Stand-out performances for the boys included Jack (Remove) finishing as runner-up, Ealye (Remove) as joint third and Eric (Fifth) and Alden (Remove) both making the last 16 in the Junior Epee. Oleg (6a) finished 6th and Sonny (6b) made the last 16 in the Senior Epee. Lucas (Shell) and Adrian (Shell) both made the last 16 in the Mount-Haes Epee.
For the girls, Amy (Shell) took a last 16 spot in the Mount Haes Epee, Kitty (Fifth) reached the last 16 in the Junior Epee and Katie (6a) and Kate (6b) both reached the last 16 in the Senior Epee.
