Last weekend’s Linacre charity dinner was an extraordinary success, with more than 75 guests attending an evening entirely led by the boys, who prepared the food, laid the tables, hosted the event and ensured everything ran smoothly with support from the Birley’s team.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, the JustGiving page has already surpassed £10,000, and with additional funds still to come from the silent auction, the House is now on track to raise more than £20,000 for Porchlight, a truly remarkable achievement.
Porchlight is a homelessness and housing charity that supports vulnerable people facing homelessness, poverty and mental health challenges by providing safe housing, practical support and pathways to a more stable future.
To celebrate reaching this milestone, Mr Lister has made good on his promise to shave his head if the fundraising total exceeded £20,000!
