Our Year 11 Mandarin pupils embarked on a cultural trip to the British Museum and London’s Chinatown.
The day began at the British Museum where our pupils explored exhibits spanning over 3000 years of Chinese history. Every exhibit told a story of its own, offering a glimpse into the diverse tapestry of human heritage.
After this, pupils visited Chinatown, which was still full of Lunar New Year decorations. The highlight of the day was the group meal, where pupils sampled authentic dishes and tested their chopstick skills.
This cultural trip was more than just a trip; it created some wonderful memories and fostered a deeper appreciation for the richness of Chinese culture.
