Mind’s Eye Prep turns 10!
Over the past decade, Mind’s Eye Prep has published over 500 articles written by Prep School pupils in Kent, London and the South East covering everything from the farmers’ tax and the evolution of AI to miscarriages of justice and if we should be scared of aliens.
The newest edition is one of the most ambitious yet, featuring 60 articles written entirely by children under the age of 13. The subjects explored are as varied as they are thought-provoking, including whether dinosaurs should be brought back from extinction and why Kiribati is considered the least-visited country in the world.
Our thanks has to go to the pupils of the schools who have answered the call for articles with gusto, since 2017. Without them, this magazine simply wouldn’t exist. Bede’s, Holmewood House School, St Faith’s Prep, Marlborough House Vinehall, Newton Prep, Northbourne Park, Solefield, Saint Ronan’s, Broomwood, Junior King’s, St John’s College School, Chandlings, Trevor-Roberts, Brambletye, Cumnor House and Skipper’s Hill, we salute you.
And our thanks also to our Head of Creative Writing here at King’s, Mr Anthony Lyons and to his wife, Yvonne who together gather all the articles, proof read, design and publish the magazine.
