On Sunday last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Boarders barbecue where I met many of our existing boarding parents and guardians. It was also lovely to welcome a good number of new families to the boarding community. Hosted by Mrs Hutchings and Mr Stevenson, we enjoyed the sunshine, good food and great company.
The new term is well and truly underway. The start of year service held in Canterbury Cathedral on Thursday morning, reminded us of how fortunate we are to be a part of this wonderful King’s community. For those able to attend, we enjoyed listening to our choir, heard our Heads of School and Heads of Boarding read confidently, and all led by our Chaplain Mother Lucy. The service gave us time to reflect and look forward to a new school year, with many exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
