As the colder weather arrives, Junior King’s is embracing the festive season with coats, gloves and woolly hats making their appearance.

Last night’s St Cecilia Concert was a truly memorable occasion, showcasing the incredible breadth of musical talent at Junior King’s. The exceptional standard of performance reflected the pupils’ dedication and the outstanding guidance of our music team.

Today, our Chamber Choir perform at the Wealden Times Midwinter Fair and the end-of-term Carol Service at the Cathedral will provide another opportunity to celebrate the remarkable musical tradition that defines Junior King’s.

Fencing continues to be a real strength at Junior King’s. Last Sunday, several pupils competed in the Leon Paul U14 Open, alongside senior school participants. Special congratulations to Coco and Elijah, who achieved second place in the plate competition. Well done to all our competitors for representing themselves and the school with skill and sportsmanship.

This week also saw the School Committees meet to share their thoughts and ideas on various aspects of school life. Their feedback is invaluable, and the school makes a conscious effort to act on suggestions wherever possible. The Catering Committee discussed many excellent ideas and it was confirmed that the much-loved ginger biscuits will be making a return!
