Over the weekend, we celebrated our King’s community in Asia with King’s Association drinks events in Hong Kong and Shanghai. It was a memorable occasion that brought together OKS, parents, former parents, former staff, and prospective parents.

The first event took place in Hong Kong on Friday 19 September at The Hong Kong Club. Jude Lowson (Head) gave an insightful presentation to guests, sharing the latest news and developments from King’s. She was joined by senior members of staff, including Jenny Grant (Director of Development), Will Bersey (Director of Music), Matt Key (Deputy Head, Academic), and Jon Peach (Head of International Student Recruitment). Guests then had the opportunity to socialise while enjoying the delicious canapés and drinks on offer. With more than 75 attendees, the event was a true celebration of all things King’s and a testament to the vibrant network that continues to thrive in Hong Kong.

Jon Peach then travelled to Shanghai to host our first-ever gathering in the city. We were joined by 30 guests and enjoyed stunning views of the skyline from The W Hotel. We look forward to returning for future events and continuing to build connections in the city. Thank you to everyone who joined us at both events – we look forward to seeing you again in the near future!

From generous hospitality to thoughtful conversations, it was an inspiring few days of reconnecting, sharing ideas, and strengthening our global network.

We were incredibly fortunate to be hosted so warmly by OKS, partners, parents, and friends of King’s, and grateful for the chance to hold engaging meetings and events with prospective pupils and their parents too.
