Lucy Procter (OKS, JR) was crowned world champion in the Hyrox event (Pro-Women aged 16-24) held in Nice, France on Saturday 8 June. Lucy successfully completed the course in 1:04:46.

Hyrox is a global fitness competition designed to test participants’ endurance, strength, and overall fitness through a unique combination of running and functional workout stations. Contestants must run 1km, followed by a workout station, repeated eight times. Exercises can include rowing, sled pulls, sandbag lunges and burpee broad jumps.

Hyrox events are held in various cities around the world, making it a popular and growing competition in the fitness community. Participants often use Hyrox as a way to measure their overall fitness progress and challenge themselves in a competitive yet inclusive environment.

The Puma athlete was also triumphant in Rotterdam in April this year with a sensational 1:01:09 competition time. This setting a world record within the U24 women’s category.

Well done Lucy, we are incredibly proud of your amazing achievements!
