We were delighted to host Mel Yates, the London-based interiors & portrait photographer and filmmaker, at the International College, where he inspired our Year 11 students with his passion for visual storytelling.
At our session, students didn’t just learn the technicalities of lighting, composition, editing and directing, they got insight into Mel’s philosophy: choose challenge, strive for each project to be “our best yet,” and let your creative eye see not just what is, but what could be. It was a genuinely inspiring session, one that we hope will influence their work for a long time to come.
