During Saturday Smarties this week, pupils stepped into the shoes of forensic scientists, using their detective skills to solve a mystery. It was the first Saturday Smarties session of the year.
The session involved a forensic science investigation where students carried out a range of practical experiments, including matching soil samples and testing ink using chromatography. By carefully analysing the evidence and working together, they were able to successfully solve the mystery and identify the suspect.
