Another busy week at Junior King’s has been highlighted by several events and successes. The Cathedral end of year service was, as ever, a beautiful occasion in a stunning location. It gave us chance to reflect on the year, and the reading from Canon Emma Pennington had us thinking about all we had learned and gained that will stand us in good stead as we move on to the challenges of the next academic year. The choir were a joy to listen to and a special mention to Hanya (Year 8) who played the Cathedral organ during part of the service – an outstanding achievement!
Our Friday assembly was led by pupil representatives of our committees and councils. They reported on all the good work they have achieved throughout the year. You can read more about this in this edition.
Many congratulations to Junior House for their delightful performance of ‘The Twits’. It was lovely to see all the pupils have the chance to be on stage, perform lines and sing numerous songs. The pupils have enjoyed practising and seemed to thoroughly enjoy performing in front of a large audience!
