The week has flown by, and the pupils continue to settle well and are beginning to learn their new routines. It has been a very busy week in school, not least for parents and guardians, and I was delighted to meet many of you at the recent functions. The meet the teachers evening was a helpful way to put faces to names and meet form tutors and section heads, whilst also learning a little more about how the staff approach the education and care of your children. Presentations from the evening should have been sent to you.
It was also a pleasure to walk around the school last Wednesday, observing the many fixtures that were being held at school. The pupils have quickly adapted to playing for the school again, and it was encouraging to see such high participation across the school. Perhaps the highlight of the week, though, was the Start of Year Service in the Cathedral. It was a joy to hear the choir sing beautifully and to listen to our Heads of School, Ella and Aaryan, along with the Heads of Boarding, Siwoo and James read and lead prayers.
