As we approach our first Exeat, I reflect on a very positive start to term. The children have settled well into their routines, and in particular, our new pupils have done especially well to integrate into a new environment. This includes our many new faces in the boarding house, where the settling in process can potentially be more challenging. I attended the boarding house meetings last Wednesday evening, and I was struck by the children’s desire to involve themselves with the continued success of the houses, whether by assisting each other or contributing to the life of the house.

This week, the school has been very busy with many exciting events.  The Shapira Cup took place on Wednesday and, although we were runners up, I was honoured to present the Shapira Cup and medals to the winning team after an exciting afternoon of football with a good number of visiting teams.
