It has been another busy week in school as we begin to turn our attention towards the festive season. In church this week, Mother Lucy addressed the school on the theme of the power of gratitude focusing on how, when, and why we say thank you.  Mother Lucy reminded us that saying thank you makes us focus on what we have, rather than what we don’t have. At the start of this festive season for so many, American Thanksgiving this week, Christmas and Hanukkah fast approaching, as well as many other personal celebrations, this is a time where we perhaps naturally look around at all we have and find ways of giving thanks.

Our Christmas trees are now on site and looking splendid and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the beautiful Nursery Nativity this week. It was also a pleasure to accompany the boarders to the pantomime at the Marlowe Theatre. We all enjoyed the production of Beauty and the Beast and the pupils were a credit to the school. They certainly enjoyed their evening watching a fabulous production.
