Summer seems to have arrived – at least for this week. Last Saturday saw a very busy school with many fixtures during the afternoon. It was a pleasure to walk around the campus talking to, and seeing so many parents, friends and family who were enjoying watching the activities.

I was also pleased to see the Chamber Choir support and perform at the Strode Park Foundation, a local disability centre providing vital care for young people and adults. Supporting our local community is important and we aim to increasingly involve Junior King’s pupils in such events.

Year 4 enjoyed their trip to the Beaney Museum this week and our nursery children hosted a teddy bear’s picnic in the sunshine, whilst our Reception parents took part in a car wash!
