We have enjoyed another busy week as we celebrated the Lunar new year. The Friends of Junior King’s put on a delightful Chinese Tea morning on Wednesday, and our Friday assembly with Mr Stevenson, and several of our boarders, informed the school of traditions and rituals relating to the Chinese new year. We also witnessed the re-emergence of the Dragon, and on Saturday our Boarders our looking forward to their Chinese New Year Celebration Tea.
It has been a pleasure to meet the Scholars this week to have their informal interview practice with me. We continue to wish them well in their endeavours and I am confident that they have been well prepared by all their staff. We also had a very successful sporting week which has seen a large number of pupils representing the school, with numerous victories in Netball and also a successful Milner Cup Rugby festival held here at Junior King’s.
