Autumn is arriving and the weather is turning cooler. The beautiful school site is reflecting the change in season as the leaves start to turn colour and fall from the trees, but life at school remains busy, energetic and purposeful.

Last week we raised over £400 for Macmillan thanks to the efforts of the Friends of Junior King’s preparing and selling a wonderful range of cakes. This Saturday is the AGM for the association as well as the next committee meeting.

This week the pupils enjoyed our Environment Day that challenged them to be aware of their surroundings and our impact on the planet. I was also delighted to attend the Pre-Prep Harvest Festival in St. Nicholas’ Church where we were addressed by Mother Lucy. The pupils presented their harvest gifts and sang beautifully in front of family and friends who were able to attend.
