It has been a fabulous, energetic, and packed week at Junior King’s! World Book Day transformed into World Book Week as we welcomed visiting authors and celebrated the amazing gift of reading throughout the week.
I had the pleasure of assisting the Nursery team as we walked our youngest pupils to Sturry Library last Tuesday as we explored many exciting books. The wonderful array of costumes was a sight to behold in Thursday’s assembly. From wizards and witches to Things 1 and 2, and all the things that go bump in the night, World Book Day was a huge success! Both pupils and staff made a real effort to celebrate, and it was wonderful to see so many creative costumes. My thanks go to all the staff who organised such a fantastic timetable for the children to celebrate the joy of books and reading.
