A summer of jazz
The Music Department is delighted to announce the production of a new CD, Last Summer. It features jazz soloists, ensembles and The King’s School Big Band.
The school’s Head of Jazz, pupil Robbie Ellison (Tradescant House), has led this year’s jazz with enormous skill and flair and, with the support of Ian Swatman (Director of The Big Band), jazz couldn’t be healthier at King’s.
This collection of recordings, produced during the Spring and Summer of 2015, has been devised by Robbie Ellison and will be on sale throughout King’s Week at the end of various concerts and from the box office tent on Green Court.
