‘Baileys ‘n’ Screen’

Due to the popularity of this event last term, Bailey House hosted another open-air cinema event for charity. This time the film was ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, which was released in 1986 and first watched all those years ago by Mr Ocock (Head of Maths and Tutor in Bailey). All pupils in the school were invited by the Bailey girls who visited each house selling tickets. Many students bought tickets or gave donations (some exceedingly generous pupils gave notes even though they could not attend) and a total of £888.76 was raised for the charity Takeoff, which is a local mental and physical wellbeing charity.

The pupils enjoyed popcorn, hotdogs and hot chocolate as they watched the film in the open air. Thank you to Mrs Bell (Housemistress) and all of the Bailey girls for hosting this worthwhile event.
