Callum wins Road to the Stars international essay competition
Callum Michie (Marlowe, Remove) has won an essay competition organised by the Vladimir State University and Russian Space Society.
The Road to the Stars competition was open to university students as well as school pupils, aiming to instil a scientific interest in space travel.
Callum’s entry, titled ‘Is travel faster than light possible?’, was one of the very few submissions from outside the Russian Federation.
He represented Canterbury well, considering that it is a twinned city to Vladimir, Russia.
