Canterbury District Cross Country Championships

Almost all of the pupils who were part of the King’s School Cross Country team last week qualified for the county finals for the chance to represent Kent at cross country level. It was a fantastic performance across the field. Some standout performances along the tough windswept course included:

Matt Stonier (Shell, CY) who took first place in the Junior Boys event by some distance. Rodion Zaytsev (5th, GR) who took first place in the intermediate Boys event and managed to be in excess of 35 seconds ahead of the 2nd place runner. Maddie Mills (6a, CY) and Aggie Wiener (6b, HH) finished second and fourth respectively. Charlie McMenemy (6b, MO) finishing second in the senior boys race.
