Carlyon win Shell Summer Challenge
Carlyon were the winners of the Shell Summer Challenge, a creative inter-house competition organised as part of King’s Education Online.
The Challenge comprised a series of weekly tasks from creating world country portfolios and reporting on positive news stories to writing their own Canterbury Tale. In the end, the winners of the Shell Summer Challenge were Carlyon, pipping Luxmoore by a couple of points.
Head of Lower School Robert Harrison said: “The tasks allowed the Shells to develop research skills whilst also working collaboratively. Certain tasks also allowed the pupils to exhibit their creative and storytelling abilities and I hope they enjoyed the experience.”
There were some truly impressive entries, including Luxmoore’s Canterbury Tale entry (seen below) and Carlyon’s website of positive news stories.
