Charlie scores on dream debut for Sarries
Charlie Watson OKS (Carlyon, 2018) notched a try and an assist on his senior debut for Saracens against Wasps.
The 19-year-old looked right at home as he helped the first XV to a 50-28 victory in the Premiership Rugby Cup on Saturday (September 21).
Speaking afterwards to Saracens’ official website, Charlie said: “I’m over the moon. It was a massive team effort, it was awesome. It was an absolute honour to play.”
Charlie had scored in the Premiership 7s final the previous weekend and continued his fine form before heading off to Cambridge University to continue his studies and athletic development.
