First Prize in EKST Bake Off
Carolina Padilla has won the EKST Bake Off held at a St. Anselm’s School, which is a local school in Canterbury. Carolina wowed the judges with her triple-layered chocolate and vanilla cake, filled with butter cream and topped with raspberries and blueberries.
There were four other contestants in the final in which all contestants were given 90 minutes to make a desert of some type. Carolina first made the cake back in Madrid, where she lives and uses no exact recipe. Carolina joined Bailey House this year as a new 6b and the Bailey girls hope to sample some more of her cooking in the future. She also brings a huge trophy back to the house for the display. Well done Carolina.
