GCSE Results 2019

The Year 11s from The King’s School, Canterbury have landed a good set of I/GCSEs this morning.

They were a large and vibrant group of pupils (172) who contributed in a big way to the co-curricular programme, and have huge potential to continue successfully in the Sixth Form where they will be joined by over 50 new students elected through a highly selective entrance process.

44.2% of the Year Group’s grades were A* (or grade 9 or 8) and 69.4% were at A*-A Level. One pupil achieved 13A*s and no fewer than 26 at least 9A*s.

This was a consistent pattern across the year with 83 pupils, about half the year, achieving 5 or more A* grades or equivalent.
