Henry (Hal) Evans scoops GEOSET Science prize

Henry Evans has won first prize in Sir Harry and Lady Margaret Kroto’s GEOSET competition for videos about science.

A submission from Deborah Idowu and Sebastian Klavinskis-Whiting was runner-up.

GEOSET (Global Education Outreach through Science Engineering and Technology) is Sir Harry’s initiative for young people to contribute presentations on scientific subjects of interest to them. Pupils from all around the world have joined in and their work can be seen on the Geoset website – (www.geoset.info)

Hal already has an Arkwright Scholarship, awarded to inspire future leaders in engineering and related subjects.
